On June 29th Carbon is hosting their 2nd annual Soapbox Derby. Car inspection is at 10 am. This event is open to 3 age categories; kids 7 - 12 years, 13 - 17 years, adults 18 + AND there will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes for each category, as well as a prize for the most creative car. There is a registration fee of $10. A concession will be on site. Registration forms are available at the Carbon Bottle Depot, Mount view Credit Union, the Carbon Valley Hotel, and the Carbon Legion 161 Facebook Page (Where you can find the rules, registration and wavier forms.)
