White metals (washers, dryers, stoves etc.)
Old paint and e-waste (televisions, computers, and their components
MUST BE SORTED SEPARATELY
Residents MUST pre-pay at Town Hall a fee of $15.00 per unit of all FREON APPLIANCES (refrigerators, freezers & air conditioners) two days prior to your scheduled collection day.
Item's for Spring Clean Up 2019 MUST be placed ON THE GROUND where you put your regular garbage by 7:00AM on your pickup day.
Please ensure items that you wish to keep are not in close proximity to your Spring Clean Up 2019 Refuse.
The Drumheller & District Regional Landfill welcomes FREE DROP OFF and disposal of non-demolition related materials excluding Freon appliances between April 29 and May 18, 2019 during regular business hours.
UNACCEPTABLE
Hazardous Chemicals will NOT BE picked up due to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act.
Leaves and tree branches will NOT be picked up unless:
All leaves are in BAGS & all tree branches are cut to FOUR FOOT LENGTHS
Demolition/Building material will NOT BE picked up. These materials must be picked up by a contractor.
Commercial or Trade wastes are not included in the acceptable items and will NOT BE picked up during Spring Clean Up 2019.
Used motor oil, oil containers, and oil filters may be returned to the Drumheller & District Regional Landfill FREE OF CHARGE. These item are excluded from the Spring Clean Up 2019 collection.
Absolutely NO importing of wastes from outside of Drumheller Corporate Limits.
No single pick up site is to exceed the volume of a 1/2 ton truck.
