Welcome back - Reel Alternative
The Drumheller Library Society and Napier Theatre are happy to announce the return of the Reel Alternative. For over 15 years, the Library Society has sponsored movie night on the last Monday of the month from September to November and January to April. It has been on hiatus since March 2020.
Monday October 25th will feature the movie Stillwater, featuring Matt Damon. He plays a father who travels from the U.S. to France to help his daughter who is in prison for a murder she claims she did not commit. The Napier Theatre will be following AHS guidelines (currently 1/3 occupancy) which are in effect at that time. Admission fee is $8 for library card members and $9 for non-members. To celebrate this return, the Library Society will be offering each attendee a medium popcorn as a welcome back.
The movie will start at 7:30pm, but it's generally a good idea to be at the theatre by 7. The age group of the movie will vary, please check the movie ratings. You can get your tickets at the Napier Theatre.
The Library Society is the fund-raising arm of the Drumheller Public Library. It supports a variety of programs and services for the patrons of the library and the community. Some of its most recent contributions have been the purchase of musical instruments and walking poles for loan through your library card.
