Information for Voters
To be eligible to vote, an elector must be:
- 18 years old;
- A Canadian Citizen;
- A resident in Alberta; and
- The elector's place of residence must be located in the local jurisdiction on election day (Section 47 of the Local Authorities Election Act)

Advance Polls - Badlands Community Facility
Tuesday, October 12, 2021 Voting Station is open to the public from 3:00pm-8:00pm
Thursday, October 14, 2021 Voting Station is open to the public from 12:00pm-8:00pm
Saturday, October 16, 2021 Voting Station is open to the public from 10:00am-6:00pm
The Restriction Exemption Program does not apply to elections venues for election purposes. Voters are not required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test result before voting during the Advance Polls or Election Day, but the 1/3 fire code capacity for indoor gatherings will apply to polling stations. Masks are mandatory in indoor spaces.
